Born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, Greg has been with McNally Gervan LLP since the firm was created in 2012. He became a Partner of the firm in 2017.

Greg has dedicated his entire legal career to helping accident victims. He is detail focused and results driven. Clients praise his communication skills. Greg takes the time to ensure that his client’s needs are understood and then provides a plain language strategy for achieving an effective result. Greg regularly partners with local rehabilitation providers to assist clients with their recovery. He has built a team of support staff that are among the best in the province and who make sure client’s needs are fully attended to.

Greg specializes in cases involving complex issues with liability and damages. Some of his challenging cases include successfully representing clients against municipalities and vehicle manufacturers – often in cases where other lawyers have been unwilling to assist. Greg has a particular depth of knowledge and experience representing clients with severe and complicated brain injuries or psychiatric injuries. Greg has also represented clients in wrongful death claims.

Greg has been lead counsel in several decisions that have helped shape the law in favour of Ontario accident victims and these decisions are routinely cited by lawyers, Courts, and Tribunals. He has published articles and presented at legal conferences. He is regularly consulted by his peers across the Province on complicated legal issues.

He has served on the Board of several charities and regularly partners with local fundraising initiatives to give back to the community.

Greg is a proud member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the County of Carleton Law Association.

Best Practices in Post Trauma Community Re-Integration Conference. Co-founded the conference in 2016 as the sole lawyer with three medical professionals. The conference has been held annually for four years for medical professionals and lawyers with 100 plus registrants each year until 2020. Responsibilities have including conference planning and marketing.

About

Frank is one of McNally Gervan’s two founding partners. He has devoted his law practice and professional life to representing individuals who have suffered serious personal injuries. He is a dedicated and passionate advocate and is very active and involved in a variety of causes related to disability and access to justice issues. He is widely recognized in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario as one of the leading personal injury lawyers in the region.

Education

Frank obtained a bachelor of commerce degree at Concordia University in Montreal and his law degree at the University of Ottawa. He was called to the Law Society of Upper Canada (now the Law Society of Ontario) in 2004.

Speaking Engagements

Frank has always been driven by a passion to help those in need and those without a voice. He has handled thousands of serious personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle accidents and other causes. He has also successfully represented people in disability insurance and accident benefit claims. He is an experienced trial lawyer and has conducted many accident benefit arbitrations before the Financial Service Commission of Ontario.
